The financial slalements have been prepared in a¢¢ordance with the Charitls 9oveming document. the

and the Charrties SORP "Accounts'ng and Reporting by Charities.. Slalemenl ol Recornmended Practice
applicable to charities preparing Iheir accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic ol Ireland IFRS 1021- The Charity is a Public Benefit Entity as dafined by
FRS 102.
The finanTral slalemenls have departed Irom the Charities (Acr￿Unt$ and Raport51 Regulations 2008 only lo
the exlenl required to provide a true and fair view. This departur8 has involved following the Statement of
Recommended Practice for charities appiving FRS 102 rather than the version of the Slal8menl of
Recomm8ndgd Practice which is referred lo in the R8gulalions bul has sinGg been withdrawn.
The financial statements are pigpared in slerfing. which 15 the fijnctional currency of the Charity. Monglary

The financlal Slalemenls have been prepared under Ihe historical ¢tssl convenlion, Imodified lo include the
revaluation ol freehold properties and to indude inv8$lmenl properties and certain financial instruments at fair

has adequate r8sources lo conlinue in operalional existence for the foreseeable future. Thus the Trustees

Unrestricted funds are available for use al ihe disu&tion of tha Tru$lees in furtherance of their Charflable
objectives.
Restricted funds are subject lo speafic conditions by donors or grantors as to how thèy may be used. The
purposes and uses ol the reslrided funds are sèl out in Ihe note5 to the finanaal slalemenls.
Endowment lunds are subject to SP8ufic ￿ndrtions by donors that the ￿pital musl be maintained by the
Charity.
1.4 Income
Incorne is recognised whgn the Charty is legalty entiffed to il after any perfomance conditions havg boen

Cash donations a￿ recognised on ieceipt. Olher donations are recognised once the Charty has been notified
