## 1. Structure, Governance and Management 

- Legal structure: Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), registered with the Charity Commission 

- Governing document: Constitution adopted on 5th August 2022 

- Recruitment & appointment of trustees: Trustees recruited via local networks, co-opted and approved at trustee meetings 

- Trustee names: Dan Tipney (Chair), Tom Danning (Treasurer), Helen Bradbury, Muryel Boulay, Natasha Somers, Ashleigh Brown, Laura Fairs, Anneke Marais 

## 2. Objectives and Activities 

## Charity’s charitable purposes: 

Promote rewilding and nature recovery in the community for public benefit by engaging local volunteers, raising biodiversity, and increasing ecological awareness. 

## Activities undertaken in the year: 

- Fundraised and created the charity brand and associated website and social media. 



- Extensive engagement with parish councils to learn about the barriers to urban wilding. 

- Pitched and secured a nature recovery programme in a recreation ground with Marlow Town Council in collaboration with local environmental groups. The project runs over two years initially and will include up to 200 meters of native hedgerow, mature trees, small hazel coppice, wild flowers and hawthorn scrub. Begun and secured some funding. 

- Built local partnerships with environmental groups and schools. 

## 3. Public Benefit 

In line with Charity Commission guidance, trustees confirm awareness of public benefit rules and report positively on how activities: 

- Increase biodiversity and community engagement in nature 

- Provide educational opportunities and inclusive access to green space 

- Support mental and physical wellbeing through outdoor volunteering 

## 4. Financial Review 

## Income and expenditure: 

- Total unrestricted Income: 1822 

- ● Total restricted Income: 1000 ● Total Expenditure: 1250 

Income from donations and grant funding 



## Reserves: 

- The charity maintains a minimum unrestricted reserve level of £500 (two years of fixed costs) 

- Closing unrestricted funds stand at £572, exceeding the target threshold. 

- Closing restricted funds stand at £1000. 

## Fundraising, risk and governance: 

No serious incidents or safeguarding issues occurred. Internal financial controls were applied, and all policies were implemented.
