During the financial year ending 31"
December2023, despite lack of adequate
funding/financial resources. we were
able to empower several youths within
our target communities and/or regions.
Our activities enabled the youth to
discover and develop their talents and
abilities and skills. Our meetings and
events fijrther provided opportunities for
youth to bond and have fun.
The Trips, outing and training events {like
visits to allotment sites) have enabled
young people to learn more and
understand appreciate their physical and
social environment they live in and the
range of opportunities that are available
for them to choose from as they
gradually transition to adulthood.
Moreover, It has also provided for the
youth's opportunity to interact with each
and other people from
diverse
background thus promoting social
cohesion.
Recreational and Leisure activities for
young had several benefits for the
community including:
i. Helping reduce juvenile dellnquency
and anti-social behaviour among the
youth
il. Helped develop motor skills while
promoting physical health among the
youth
iii. Promoted social interaction among the
youth and helps them develop
friendships thus promoting inclusivity
N. Provided opportunities for the youths

v. Promoted a sense of self-esteem
particularly for the socially excluded or
underprivileged children
Career advi￿, help with job search
and voluntary opportunities helped
reduce youth unemployment
in
society.
vi.

The Guidance and counselling services
helped the youth tackle the various
problems faced by the youth thereby
helping them to avoid becoming involved
in crimes. drugs and other anti-social
behaviour.
Provision of goods and services to the
poor children in society helped in the
reduction their sufferingwhile promoting
their participation in society. Provision of

Achievements against
Due to inadequate financial resources, our
objectives set
charitsble activities had only a limited impact
as we are not able to reach the wider
community within our target communities.
Most of objectives were achieved but only in
a small scale.
Our Charty engaged in several fundraising
activities including application for funding
from Bimiingham City Council, local
organisations and individual donations. We
also
encouraged people to
donate
itemslgoods (e.g. clothes, shoes, footwear)
which we either sold in our second-hand
Charity shop (on Villa Road, Bimingham) to
raise funds or by directly giving some to
needy unemployed youths who came for
help. We also used social media including
WhatsApp to raise awareness and appeal for
support. Though our Charity was only
registered within that year, our fundraising
activities
roduced some
ositive results
During the financial year, The Charity did not
engage in any investment activities during.
The Chanty however operated a second-
hand shop wherein donated items were sold
to raise funds to support the Charity's
activities and o
rations.
