With two of the charities Trustees moving to Australia a number of sports related fund-raising activities were held in Sydney. The sports day event was particularly successful (details on charities website) and is likely to become an annual event. Other fund rising activities included an ultra-marathon and a T20 event at Lords cricket ground. |

Para 1.18 | The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commissions guidance on public benefit when planning and developing the strategies they will be implementing and determining how best to utilise funds raised in the future. To date the trustees, have self-funded the provision of all services required to start and administrate the charity. All expenses associated to meetings, events and development have been paid for by the trustees personally. It is the intention of the trustees for all donations received to go directly towards funding research. The charities trustees are building a network of contacts within the scientific community to enable them to engage pier assessment for the eventual selection of appropriate research funding projects. |
