We have increased the**<br>**awareness of our garden.**<br>**We have made improvements in the**<br>**garden such as a better system of**<br>**composting, introducing raised beds for**<br>**growing vegetables.  This in interesting**<br>**to visitors and has helped with the**<br>**maintenance of the garden**<br>**We have organised a number of special**<br>**events which have increased visitor**<br>**numbers such as “yarn bombing” in the**<br>**early Spring and taking part in an Apple**<br>**Day in Autumn.**<br>**Cambridgeshire Adult Skills continue to**<br>**use our garden to deliver City and Guld**<br>**horticulture courses.  The garden offers**<br>**an ideal venue so learners can gain a**<br>**wide variety of skills.  Some learners go**<br>**on to employment in the horticulture**<br>**sector.  The garden has also been used**<br>**for a one off skills training days.**|

## **Financial Review**

Review of the charity’s  Para 1.21  The charity changed over from its<br>financial position at the end  former status as a charitable trust to the<br>of the period  new entity Ramsey Abbey Walled<br>Garden CIO during this financial year.<br>The funds from the old Trust were<br>transferred to the new CIO.<br>For a short time the two organisations<br>were running in parallel while<br>arrangements were made to transfer the<br>funds.
