Policies 2 The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention on the accruals basis. 3 The Skills Centre's operations are carried out in two buildings. which have been given to the centre in past year5, on land which is leased from Surrey County Council. The value of these buildings is not reflected in the above Balance Sheet. 4 It 15 the Centre's practice to charge the cost of assets purchased to Revenue Account in the year of purchase. 5 On 1st April 2024 Bletchingley Ski115 Centre CIO accepted the transfer of all the Assets and Liabilitie5 of Bletchingley Skills Centre. The Charity's Trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year under se(aion 144(2) of the Charities Acl 2011 (the Acti and that an independent examination is needed. 11 is my responsibility lo.. examine the Accounts under section 145 of the Act lo follow the procedures laid down in the General Disre(aions given by the Charity Commissioners under section 145 of the Acl., and lo slate whether particular mallers have come to my attention. Basis of Independent Examiners Report My examination was carried out in accordance wth the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. BLETCHINGLEY SKILLS CENTRE CIO Report of the Trustees of the Bletchingley Skills Centre CIO On 2nd May 2023 Bletchingley Ski115 Centre CIO was registered with The Charity Commission The specifit purpose of this Charitable Trust (Charity number 12029091 was to tske over the Assets and Liabilities of Bletchingley Skills Centre (Charity number 10022731. The transfer of these Assets took place on 1st April 2024. This receipt is included in these A¢¢ounts For adminitrative purposes Bletchingley Skills Centre Bank Accounts could not be closed. All transaction5 ori these bank accounts have been included in 8letchingley Skills Centre CIO Accounts. On 3rd September 2024 a decision was tsken by the Trustees that due to the inability to gain funding the Centre was to be closed, noti¢e of temination of the lease was given and with deep regret students and staff were advised of this decision.
