Section C Objectives and activities
The objects of the Charity are to advance such purposes which may be charitable (according to the law of England and Wales) as the trustees see fit. In particular the funding priorities for the Charity are as follows:-

the prevention or relief of poverty in tea growing communities such as Sri Lanka, India, China, Africa, Taiwan, South America, Indonesia and Malaysia

the relief of sickness and the preservation of health among people residing permanently or temporarily in these Tea Growing

Communities;

the provision of resources to provide or improve education for children and adults in these Tea Growing Communities;

the provision of infrastructure to provide access to water, sanitation and sustainable food resources; and
-
supporting tea related causes which are charitable in these Tea Growing Communities, Europe and North America.
During the year the charity made its first distribution with a donation to The Hope Foundation UK who support children in Kolkata, India. The trustees continued to raise funds and awareness and will be looking to make further donations in 2026.
