The Charities main activities undertaken for the public benefit of continuing to add to funds, include various fundraising events. These events vary betrNeen non school uniform days, to family funday fundraising events, coffee mornings, birthday fundraisers, Zumba lunch fundraiser, the Great North Run, the Colour Rush challenge, Rugby club fundraising days. All of these events that the Charity engages in, further benefit it's objects as each event adds to the fundraising total ensuring that the Charity moves closer to it's goal of providing respite accommodation. Al each meeting the trustees attend, the guidance is reviewed for the public benefit alongside the objects and goals in fonward planning future fundraising activities. Section D Achievements and performance Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year The Charities main achievements for the year is the continuation to positively contribute funds from charitable activities for the benefit of the public in moving closer with the purpose ol being able to provide respite accommodation. The charity have learnt some fundraising activilies are more beneficial in the amount of fundraising achieved than others and what will bring in the most funds moving forward which is a posilive move in future planning. The charity have continued to actively seek fundraising ideas and involvement in activities so that performance and involvemenl can be increased annually. The trustees continue to add to the fundraising list of ideas and each are taking a part in adding to the fundraising total, including encouraging the wider public and community members to come up with their own ideas to raise funds. Further financial review details (Optional information) The key objective of the Charity is to raise as much funds as is possible to add to the total annually until we are at a point of being able to provide respite opportunities that are fully funded. The Charity has had an expenditure of £IOOO paid to a fellow Charity that have offered us 10 spaces to partake in the three Peaks challenge. Trustees feli this to be of benefit to our Charity as those places on this guided challenge will in turn fundraise amounts that far exceed the initial expenditure. This will support the key objectives of the charity in its fundraising stages.
