To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Wednesbury and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for healthy recreation, especially cycling or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects: We provide riding instruction teaching how to ride and building confidence along with led-rides. Depending on our level of funding we deliver events in association with Cycling UK during their Big Bike Revival event. These events include led-rides, learn to ride sessions and ‘Dr. Bike’ mechanics.

Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the first six months: During the first six months of the charity’s existence we received funding from both Cycling UK enabling us to take part and deliver Big Bike Revival events and The National Lottery Fund allowing us to put on an event for The West Midlands Mayor Community Weekend.

We arranged a weekly led-ride, we taught several people to ride and repaired a number of bicycles. We also managed to supply two families with child bicycles.
