Ob"ectives and activities
1.For the benefit of the public to relieve the suffering of parrots in need of
care and attention and, in particular, to provide and maintain rescue
homes or other facilities for the reception, care and treatment of such
birds.
2.To promote humane behaviour towards parrots by providing
appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for parrots which are
in need of care and attention by reason of sickness, maltreatment, poor
circumstances or ill usage.
3.To raise awareness and educate the public in matters pertaining to bird

and interact with the parrots and leam about conservation issupg

Duke of Edinburgh Award - providing opportunities for young
people to complete their volunteering tasks
Work Experience - giving young people a chance to complete
their work experience in the sanctuary
College - giving presentations to students on parrot welfare and
behaviour and conservation issues
Vet Universities - allowing vet students to complete their EMS
units within our sanctuary
Public Liaisons - providing past owners the opportunrties to keep
in touch with their parrots
Email Advice service - taking emails from the public regarding
parrot and bird welfare issues
Rescue Centres - liaising with the public and working alongside
parrot rescue groups to ensure that parrots are properly catered
for in an environment that best surts them
Parrot Intake - taking in unwanted or bereaved parrots from the
public

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity {"the Trusv) for the year ended
Responsibilities and As the charty trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report ofthe accounts in accordance with the requirement5 of the Charities Act
2011 (Yhe Act").
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
