Appointment of Charity Trustees<br>1. Apart from the first charity trustees, every<br>trustee must be appointed by a resolution<br>passed at a properly convened meeting of the<br>charity trustees.<br>2. In selecting individuals for appointment as<br>charity trustees, the charity trustees must have<br>regard to the skills, knowledge and experience<br>needed for the effective administration of the<br>CIO.<br>3. Apart from the first charity trustees, charity<br>trustees shall be appointed for an initial period<br>of three years and shall thereafter retire as a<br>charity trustee.<br>4. Subject to clause 9 and clause 12, a charity<br>trustee whose term of office has expired<br>(whether under clause 9.9 or clause 10.3) shall<br>be eligible for reappointment for a further three<br>year term and the process for reappointment<br>shall be as set out in clause 10.1. A charity<br>trustee may serve a maximum of three<br>consecutive terms of office. After that, a charity<br>trustee may be reappointed as a charity trustee<br>once a period of not less than 12 months has<br>elapsed from the end of their three consecutive<br>terms of office.|

## 7. Future Plans 

The Trustees anticipate that they are likely to receive grant requests and equipment loan requests in the coming financial year and look forward to considering these against the aims and purposes of the Trust, set out in the constitution, for the public benefit in the coming financial year.
