SARDA (South Wales) Mountain Rescue Search Dogs objective is to save life and relieve suffering and distress amongst persons endangered by accidents, or who are missing, on the hills or open country or in urban areas, predominately, but not exclusively, in the areas of South and Mid Wales.

Objects: For The Public Benefit, The Relief Of Suffering And Distress Of Those Endangered. Principally In South Wales,but Without Geographical Limitation By:a) Providing A Dedicated And Trained Emergency Search And Rescue Service Consisting Ofappropriately Trained Dogs And Volunteer Handlersb) To Assist And Support The Emergency Service And Voluntary Rescue Services In The Search Andrescue Of Missing Personsc) Working Effectively With Other Rescue Services, Such As The Mountain Rescue, Police, Ambulance,fire And Rescue And Coastguard Servicesd) To Advance The Education Of The Public In Matters Relating To General Dog Welfare.
