Achievements and performance
Summary of the main
achievements of the charity
during the year
Taken together with the activities of the charity It has helped to redu
health inequalities by ensuring that financial hardship did not prevent
people from accessing essential healthcare. The trustees believe the
charity's work delivered clear and meaningful public benefit by saving
lives, reducing suffering, and improving access to medical care for
vulnerable people.
By helping people to aC￿sS regular and ongoing medical care. This
included funding dialysis, physiotherapy, and essential medicines,
particularly for people managing long-temi conditions such as diabetes
and high blood pressure. By supporting access to consistent treatment.
the charity helped beneficiaries to manage their conditions, improve their
quality of life, and reduce the risk of serious complications.
In a number of cases, this support was given in urgent or life-threalening
situations, where access to timely treatment helped lo save lives and
prevent severe or permanent harm. Without this intervention,
beneficiaries would have been unable to receive care when it was most
needed.
The charity has raised awareness of preventative care, helping to
address health issues before Ihey become more serious. Furthermore.
the charity's support has enabled people who would otheNise have gone
without treatment to a¢￿sS they needed. The trustees believe these
activities made a real difference by reducing suffering, improving health
outcomes, and addressing inequalities in access lo healthcare for some
of the most vulnerable members of the community.
