**Objects:** THE CHARITY’S OBJECTS (‘OBJECTS’) ARE SPECIFICALLY RESTRICTED TO THE FOLLOWING: TO PROMOTE GOOD CITIZENSHIP FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY ADVANCING PUBLIC EDUCATION IN AND AWARENESS OF THE ENTERTAINMENTS NATIONAL SERVICE ASSOCIATION (ENSA) AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO THE WAR EFFORT DURING WORLD WAR II AND THE ROLE IT PLAYED IN BOOSTING MORALE BOTH AT HOME AND ON THE FRONT LINE, AND BY THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PERMANENT MEMORIAL TO ENSA.

**Activities:** The role of the charity is to raise funds through donations and its own fund raising activities to commission a lasting memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire to honour those civilian entertainers who did so much to help the war effort by boosting morale both at home and abroad during World War two and to educate the public in the role that entertainment played in the war.
