30 April 2024. The trustees have adoptrd the provisions of Accounting and ReFKJrtin8 by Charities.. Stst¢ment of
Recommend¢d Practice appli¢able to ¢￿￿ritieS preparing their accounts in accordance with the Finanei41 Reporting
Standard appli¢able in the UK and Republic of Ireland {FRS 102) (effective l January 2019).
Holly's H¢aTts was established by Mark and Jem)y Prince in memory of their daughter Holly who had a very rare
ondiiion called Bloorn Syndrorn¢. There are less than 300 people in the world registered with the condition. Children
with Bloom s￿dTOM¢ have an in¢Teased chanc¢ of d¢velopin8 canc¢r. Holly was diagnosed with cancer ai age three and
sadly passed away aged five in April 2022.
The organisation has been raising money for temiinally ill children since 2022 but Lt was not until I l April 2023 that the
charitsble incorporated organisation known as Hollys H¢arts was forn)ally r¢gi5t¢red with th¢ Charity Commi$5ion. In
June 2023, the balaft¢¢ of monies accumulated ¢0 £1 1.978. was tr8nsfeTr¢d into the charity accouni.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Oble¢tlve5 and alm$
To keep Holly's memory alive the Prince family Set up the eharity in her name in 2023 to help other children and
families going through similar experiences. Th¢ objectives of the tharity are the relief of those in A¢¢d by reason of ill
health, $pe¢ifically children suffering from an otKolo8y relat￿ iltnes& by the provision of items and family experiences
with the aim of improving their condiiions of life.

The trustees have given due re8ard io the tharity ¢ommissionJ suidance on public benefit and confiden¢ that the
charity meets the criteria.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
ChArltable aetlvltles
We have gifted over 60 families with respi1¢ br¢ths in caravans, ltsdge5 and at Cen¢er Parcs, family da￿ outs, theatre
and show tick¢ts and most recenily fooiball hospitslity. We have also provided gifts to help children ihrough their
treatment durirtg what can som¢tim¢s be very long hospit•l stsys. Gifts include such items a5 toys, le80. iPads, laptops,
8amin8 consoles and clothes. Wh#1 makes us unique is thal our 8ift is not Sei in $tone. Families can r¢que5t som¢rhin8
they really need and we personally spBak to the familiu and ty io h¢lp as best we can.
We have t*en sele¢ted a5 charity of the yw by St¢ph¢nson's Solicitors and One Pi¢¢adilly GBrd¢n$. They have
coniinually raised lots of rnoney for us throu8kn the year for which we •Te very 8rntefvl.
We are 8180 indebted to all our supportws volunteers at ow ¢vents throu8hout th¢ year. withou¢ whorn we would noi
be able to provide the uniqu¢ giftj experientts for the childm.

the income was restricted and was available to be us¢d for the 8enerni objeaives of the charity.

Reserves policy
The tn￿tte5 b¢li¢ve a working ¢￿1th1 of £IO,O(Kl is an a¢¢eptsble level of reserves.
As at the year end 30 April 2024 the Charity had w]restri¢ted reserves of £77.(KJO which is well in ex¢es8 of this.
Recent discussions among the trustee board have tslked of the p)ssibility of purchasing an asseL which would enable the
charity to provide families with wmnthon for rwit¢ breaks. As such these reserves could be called upon in the
near future.

numb¢r of trustees thai may be appointed to the CIO.
In sele¢iing individuals for appointment as ¢h•rity trustees. the ¢harity trusi¢es must have re8wd to the skills, knowled8e
and experience needed for the eff¢¢tive athninistr&tion of the CIO.

the amount of the obligation ¢an be measured reliably. Expettditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has
