Para 1.17 and 1.19	A total of 8 grant awards were made during 2025 to deserving partners in 7 of the least developed countries of the world. The project work we supported helped to build 2 new schools in Madagascar and Zimbabwe and funded new equipment in 2 hospitals in Bangladesh and a floating medical clinic in Cambodia. We also sponsored community outreach programmes in Malawi, NE India and Tanzania.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	In accordance with our mission, we sponsored 8 development projects during 2025 that addressed basic needs in developing communities around the world. A grant award was made to the UK registered charity Impact UK in support of a community outreach programme in Tanzania, a floating hospital in Bangladesh and a medical clinic on the Tonle Sap Lake in Cambodia. Grants were also made to St Pauls Secondary School in eastern Zimbabwe, the LAMB hospital in NW Bangladesh, the Waymaker Trust in NE India and the UK charity Ripple Africa to enable them to expand a farming diversification project on the shores of Lake Malawi. It is our policy to identify and fund suitable projects like these rather than to accumulate large cash reserves. Income and expenditure were therefore roughly in balance over the course of the year but £16,128 has been carried over to fund projects earmarked for 2026 including a new school build in SW Madagascar in conjunction with the UK registered charity United World Schools.
