Grant awards were made to the UK**<br>**registered charity PHASE Worldwide in**<br>**support of a remote mountain healthpost**<br>**in Nepal (£12,500), the Billy Riordan**<br>**Memorial Trust to equip a new maternity**<br>**unit in Malawi (£5,000) and the Waymaker**<br>**Trust in NE India to help with their**<br>**community work in Maraland (£18,314).**<br>**It is our policy to identify and fund**<br>**suitable projects like these rather than to**<br>**accumulate cash reserves and having**<br>**started the year with a healthy balance,**<br>**expenditure exceeded income over the**<br>**period of this report. Nevertheless, we**<br>**ended the year with more £8,000**<br>**remaining on account.**|
