Principal aims and activities. The principal aims of the charity is to provide fire and rescue services. The results The operating deficit for 12 months ended 31st March 2025 is £1004. The deficit for the year has been transferred to the Accumalted Fund which now is in deficit by £566. The balance in the Charity's bank account at the 31st March 2025 is £274. Chairman Independent examlner's report to the officers ot South East Fire & Rescue We report on the accounts of the East Sussex Fire & Rescue for the 12 months ended 31st March 2025, which are set out on pages 2 to 3. Respectlve responslbllltles of trustees and examlner The charity's officers are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's officers consider that an audit is not required for this year under section 144121 of the Charities Act 2011 (The 2011 Act) and that an independent examination is needed. It is our responsibility to.. examine the accounts under section 145 of the 2011 Act to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 1451Sllbl of the 2011 Act . and to state whether particular matters have come to our attention. Basis of Independent examiner's report Our examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission. Arb examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with the records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit and therefore no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a true and fair view and the report is limited to those matters set out in the statement below.
