## **Trustees Annual Report**

## **1. AGM**

No AGM was held, however the report has been seen by the trustees and is assured as an accurate record of the Charity’s position at year end. The AGM is set for September 2024.

## **2. The Trustees**

All trustees have been in place since the inception in March 2023. The CIO intends to offer more trustee roles in 2024.

## **3. Funding**

The CIO was lucky enough to gain funding (3032.19) from a variety of different sources, which helped with the set up costs of the new Chuley Road workshop.

## **4. Activities**

The Ashburton Café was set up in 2018 and has been a successful venture repairing broken items (electricals, furniture, fabrics, clocks, radios etc.) and returning them in a usable state thereby reducing domestic items going to landfill. In March 2023 the Charity was formed and new premises became available to increase the amount of repairs that could be offered to the public. There were costs to this very basic premises for which grants became available.

## **5. Summary.**

The Ashburton Repair Café Charity continues to be in a sound position with good governance and appropriate policies in place to support its activities. The CIO is well able to meet its obligations and it is anticipated that the CIO’s increased repairing activities will provide a good flow of income in the forthcoming year.
