Croquet England is a primaiily volunt3ry organig3tlon, with over 100 volunteers seNng as Trustees, members of the
ExecutNe, a member of a commltteeor anothervolunteer role. Many hundFedsof people volunteer in sUPPOrt of
some of our affiliate clubs and In support of croquet events across the country.

Croquet England was establlshed as a Charitable Incorporated Organisètion in 2023. During 2023 plans wer2 set to
Iranslerthe operations of the predecessor organlsatlDn (the unincorpordted Croquet AssocIatlonl as previously
approved by mernbErs of the that assodaiion. In parallel, workwas undertaken to ensurethat the new org3nlsation
established a robust foundation for thpfuture.
The primary objectives set by thetrustees for 2024were:
Succ@S5ful migration of day-to-day operatlons from the Croquet Association to Croquet England.
Conductlng a review of governance against both Charlty Commlssion arsd Sport England Code of Sports
Goverriance and irnplementlng improvements.

Operaiions were mi8rated from the CrDquet Assoclatlon to Croquet Eng13nd with minimal disruption to d3y-
today operatlons. Tht first major milestone in 2024 wag the launth of the annual talendar of events on I
February 2024. The Second major milestone vrd5 the holdlnE of our first General Meeting of Members on 16
Marth 2024. A further General Meeting was held on 12 October 2024,. this ￿11 set the pattern for Annual

of reserves fDr the organisatlon Is of Its Eross annual income.
This sum is believed to be sufflclent. togethér wlth our insurance, to ensure that theorganisation is resilientto all but
the most 5Tgnifirènt financial risk5 that It faces. It also recognise5 the f6ctthat the organisation is very reliant on
volllnteer effort$ and that it may on o¢caslon need to be able to resourts one-off projects or increase its professlonal
base. This level of reseryes should also provlde ihe necessary 5VPPDrt for anysuch thamEes in the shortterm. whllst
income and 2xpenditure are rebalanced for the Songer term. These rE5Erves Should also provide confSdence tothe

I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carrled out under saclion 145 of
the 2011 Act and In carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions glvep.
