The hall is booked on most days<br>and often for whole days every week.<br>This year, residents assembled to enjoy an<br>evening of entertainment, and the annual<br>Christmas Light switch on continues to be a<br>tremendous success with a large presence<br>from the local community. The local village<br>friends’ group has put on film events and<br>the Freecycle team continue to offer free<br>teas and coffees to members of the<br>community each month in a social<br>atmosphere.<br>The major project this year has been the<br>installation of 24 solar panels on the roof<br>along with 2 x 10kW batteries to store<br>surplus power which can be used in<br>periods of high demand. Funding for the<br>solar panels and the installation was<br>secured via a grant. The roof required<br>strengthening which was funded by the<br>Parish Council.<br>We have continued to carry out minor<br>repairs and improvements as and when<br>required.|
