TRUSTEES' REPORT

The Trustees present their report together with the accounts for the period ended 08 November 2024. The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice and applicable law.

Objectives of the Charity, Principal Activities and Organisation of our work

MISSED FOUNDATION is a solely a charity organisation. The objectives of the charity are:-

The objects of MISSED FOUNDATION are:

a) To support and provide practical, emotional, psychological and spiritual assistance to women and families who have experienced miscarriage, pregnancy loss or related complications, through counselling, support groups, prayer, education, referrals and other charitable means as the trustees consider appropriate; and

b) To relieve the emotional, psychological, social and financial difficulties experienced by women and families affected by miscarriage or pregnancy loss, by providing information, welfare support, advocacy and access to relevant professional and community services.

The principal activities of the charity include supporting women who have suffered miscarriage during pregnancy and assisting their partners and families as they cope with grief, emotional distress and related challenges. The Foundation provides a safe and compassionate environment in which affected individuals can share their experiences, receive guidance and access appropriate support.

The Foundation also promotes awareness and understanding of miscarriage and pregnancy loss, helps to reduce stigma and isolation, and provides educational information on available medical, counselling and community resources. Where necessary, beneficiaries are referred to qualified healthcare professionals, counsellors, support organisations and other relevant service providers.

The Foundation is supported by a number of volunteers who assist with counselling support, outreach, administration, awareness activities, support groups and other charitable programmes designed to achieve its objectives.

Development, Activities and Achievements During the Period

During the period, MISSED FOUNDATION continued to develop its charitable activities and strengthen its support for women and families affected by miscarriage and pregnancy loss. The Foundation provided emotional and practical support to beneficiaries, helping them to cope with grief, anxiety, isolation and other difficulties associated with pregnancy loss.

The Foundation also organised and facilitated support sessions, counselling referrals and awareness activities aimed at improving understanding of miscarriage and promoting compassionate care for those affected. It provided a forum where women could connect

with others who had experienced similar loss, share their experiences and receive encouragement in a safe and supportive environment.

In addition, the Foundation offered guidance and referrals to appropriate medical, counselling, welfare and community services whenever required. It continued to engage volunteers and develop partnerships to expand its outreach and improve the support available to beneficiaries.

Through these activities, MISSED FOUNDATION continued to pursue its objectives of relieving distress, promoting emotional wellbeing and ensuring that women affected by miscarriage do not have to face their experience alone.

TRUSTEES' REPORT (CONTINUED)

Statement of Trustees' Responsibilities

The Charities Act requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the surplus or deficit of the charity for that period. In preparing these financial statements, the trustees are requested to:

• State whether applicable accounting standards and statements of recommended practice have been followed, subject to any departures disclosed and explained in the financial statements;

The Trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act. Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of "MISSED FOUNDATION"

I report on the accounts of the Charity for the period ended 08 November 2024, which are set out on pages 9 to 12.

Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider that an audit is not required for this year (under section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the 1993 Act)) and that an independent examination is needed.

It is my responsibility to:

Basis of independent examiner's report

My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

Independent examiner's statement

In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention: (1) which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect, the requirements

have not been met; or

(2) to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
