Chairwoman's Report for the Year Ended 30 June 2025

Chair’s Statement

The International Iraqi Women’s Assembly strives to promote the values of solidarity and social inclusion within British society by supporting those most in need and empowering women and families to build more stable and dignified lives. The organization believes that every individual is entitled to equal opportunities in education, employment, and community participation, regardless of their background or social circumstances.

The organization continues its dedicated efforts to support Arabic-speaking women, refugees, and all those facing challenges in integrating into society. It provides English language education programs, vocational training, social and psychological support, as well as guidance and counseling services that help individuals regain confidence and engage positively within British society.

Furthermore, the organization works to organize social and cultural activities and events that foster cooperation and communication among different segments of the local community, believing that true integration begins with building bridges of compassion, respect, and mutual understanding.

Driven by its humanitarian mission, the organization continues to provide assistance and support to lowincome families and individuals affected by poverty or social isolation, both within the United Kingdom and through humanitarian initiatives supporting refugees and those in need. Human dignity and the right to a decent life remain at the core of its priorities.

The International Assembly of Iraqi Women moves forward with determination and commitment in fulfilling its humanitarian mission, placing community service and the empowerment of vulnerable groups at the heart of its work, and believing that strong societies are built on cooperation, compassion, and equal opportunities for all.
