l am pleased to report that our mwmbership numbets have remained constant in the last year. We want lo
hjrther expand our membership, and as such. we have, like last year. promded a yearfs rnember5hip as part
of the cornferen￿ admission fee to non-memker5. We have successfully sought sponsorship from
phoM￿￿Ul1CaI cc¥mpanies, Wh￿ enab￿ us to prov*Je the confererte free of charge to our member5.
l am hugety thankful to Hamek Chera who has contsnu&J in the wsrtK)n of Honorary Treasurer, Hamek
utilises a huge bugness a¢umen to the posrtK)n. whth has greatly streamlined our financial prctesses.
Sadly Dr Jirn Bond and Laura Oakley resKJned from the committee in the summer and l am grateful for
the work they did dunng their lime on the ccxmmrttee We have r￿en￿Y welcAJned nurses on to the
cornmittee. Danielle Anderson and Yvonne Gibney and l am sure they wll raise our profile among their
nursiro collewJues.
Presently our commrttee compnses two d(￿tOrS. three nurses and four phamiaasts. There are three
vacancies in the ExecutNe Commrttee so there a￿ oppOrtUnrt￿ to bring in fresh ideas and passion to the

We have Continu￿ to present the ewonic V￿510n of the Trave￿iSe Journal. as an educational publication
with rdevant material to practit￿nerS who prowde. or have an Interest in, any type of Travel or Global Health
serv¢e Our edrtorial team are Jane Wilson-Howarth and Jan Jones. l am so grateful for the dedication of this
dynamic duo who contribute hours ofwork to produce an ex￿11￿nt y)umal.
Last year we changed how we publlsh art￿les. meaning we get them lo members in a more timely manner.

report wrth the financial statements of the charty for the peric¥J 20 Marcb 2023 to 31 March 2024. The
trustees have adopted the provisK)ns of A￿OUntr.ng and Reportsng by Charrt*s" Slalement of Recommended
Practi￿ applicabk lo charities preparing their accounts in accordance wth the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of IreLarKI IFRS 1021 leffectNe 1 January 20191.
The Twstees confirm that they have complEd with the duty in ￿K)n 4 of the chant￿ Act 20CE lo have due
regard lo the Chanty ComMiss￿n,$ general guidance on public benefft. The TNstees have referred lo the
L4tter guklance when reviewng the chantys aims and objectives. In particular, the Trustees consider that the
planned &twrf(ies of the chanty have. arKI wll continue, to further the ends of the relief of sickness and the
protection of heatth to travellers abroad.
