FRANCIS RoifThi TRUST
The Francis Routh Trust was registered as a charity by the Charity Commission on 17th
March 2023. Its object is th8 promotion of Brrtish Music and takes its lead from the
Redcliffe Concerts of British Music. a r8gistereAI charity, which was established in 1964
a concert promotion society for the works of Britk8h compows. With the death of Francis
RoLrth, the founder of the charity and its first chainnan. in Novembèr 2021, the Trust88s of
the Redcliffe Concerts took the opportunrty to re&$$￿ the direction that the charity
should tak8. Following tts advice of the Charity Commission. this has 1nv0fv￿j
establishing this new charitable entrty. the Francis Routh Trust, as a Charitable
Incorwrated Organisation, progressivety transtring the assets of the Redcliffe Concerts
of British Music to this new charity.

£20,150 in grants to a totai of 27 appli&gnts in year, bringing the totd the Trust has
awarded ￿nce inception to e30,070. This has supported the perfomiance of 122 woths
by 101 compows.
The Trust88s ar8 pursuing a rnediunFlow balanc￿1 risk approach lo the investments of
th8 Trusts to seek to m&ntain the totsl rotum in tems. and thus seek to nwntain th8
income available for grants in the medium terni. The Trustees anticipate to be able to
provide around £20,0(X) in grants in 2025.
