**Objects:** THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR INDIVIDUALS EXPERIENCING POVERTY AND FINANCIAL HARDSHIP THROUGH PROVIDING GRANTS TO EXTRA TUITION PROGRAMMES IN THE POOR COMMUNITY OF HOOGHLY (HUGLI) DISTRICT OF WEST BENGAL, INDIA.

**Activities:** We give grants to support the education of children of Scheduled Tribes and other poor children in Hooghly (Hugli) District of West Bengal, India. Currently we support 2 small primary schools under the name Dhrubotara (Pole Star) , with tuition for students enrolled in high school or college. These are administered by the locally registered NGO Athmik. Other projects can be supported in future.
