This partnership will benefit both churches by: enhancing our witness and impact in the community, providing opportunities for joint learning and growth, strengthening our bonds and fostering unity. To further or benefit the Romanian residents of London Borough of Harrow without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions by associating together the said residents and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

THYL is a charity focusing on the needs of its local community from Harrow and surrounding . The work we do with individuals is to help the participant learn new skills, provide a routine and a place for individuals to make new friends and share ideas. We have trained coaches that signpost and provide basic advice on anything to do with their personal lives. We are here to improve people’s quality of life by way of getting them to attend and take part.

We will achieve our charitable objectives by strengthening and connecting the community by increasing the number of participants that can join by 20% year on year for the next 5 years.

Summary of the main
achievements of the
charity during the
year
The charity had a successful year in 2023-2024,
providing various activities and opportunities for
children to engage in. Throughout the year, a
total of 50 children participated in activities such
as drama classes, badminton, healthy eating
seminars, and football tournaments at Mile End
Park leisure Centre. The summer holiday
program was particularly popular, with 85
children attending each week and enjoying
activities such as arts and crafts workshops,
trampoline outings, and football tournaments.
Additionally, the charity organized day trips to
places like Emirates Cable Cars, Surrey Quays
Cinema, and Chessington World of Adventures,
providing the children with new experiences and
adventures.
During the Christmas break, the charity
continued to engage the children with activities
like Winter Wonderland visits, football
tournaments, and outings to places like Lea
Valley Ice-skating and East Ham Flip out
trampoline. Overall, the charity's efforts to
provide a diverse range of activities aimed at
keeping the children engaged and entertained
were successful, and the consistent attendance
of 50 children at each event demonstrates the
positive impact of the charity's work in the
community. Moving forward, the charity can
continue to build on these successes and expand
its reach to further benefit children in need.

The organisation advances the Christian faith through a combination of worship, education, outreach, and discipleship.
