They generously and willingly give up their own time to support the work of the foodbank and meet the needs of those who are struggling and need a helping hand to get on their feet.. Without the dedication of these hard working and selfless volunteers the foodbank would cease to function. A vote of thanks must go to our generous donors, whether they be individuals or organisations or businesses who 5UPPOrt us financially through giving of both food and money, whether it is a one off or regular donation. This has been particularly appreciated with the increase in demand. The year 2024 has had its challenge5 especially when we10st our Project Manager and when during the rest of 2024 we were unable to recruit and find another one to fill the gap. We made good progress on applying for funding for the provision of a full time Financial Inclusion Officer to be provided by Citizens Advice and were successful in our bid. The Financi31 Inclusion Ofh'cer will start in e3rly January 2025 ar*d will be able to provide a generalist and income maximisation service for those of our community in need of emergency food aid and facing destitution. The adviserlcaseworker to be co-located at our distribution centres and will attend our three weekly distribution sessions per week The Financial Inclusion Officer will be supported by volunteers from both the local Citizens Advice and North Solihull Foodbank. 3.2 Performance Statistic for I" January to 31 December 2024
