|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference<br>the charity’s work has made<br>to the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|Para 1.20|June 2024: held frst AGM since incorporaton as<br>a CIO, including a keynote address by Andrew<br>Shapland of the Ashmolean Museum, University<br>of Oxford, ‘Labyrinth: Knossos, Myth and<br>Reality’.<br>September 2024: held potery identfcaton<br>workshop at the Britsh Museum, providing<br>opportunites to handle objects and learn about<br>identfying, photographing, researching and<br>displaying Greek potery. See report at<br>htps://classicalcollectonsnetwork.co.uk/<br>category/uncategorized/<br>This event benefted<br>atendees in their own professional<br>development and is intended to lead to wider<br>benefts to society as atendees apply what they<br>learned in their own public-facing practce.<br>Revised and expanded CCN website, including<br>further ‘Meet the Member’ entries.<br>January 2025: secured funding from the<br>Hellenic Society and Newcastle University to<br>hold a conference in September 2025 at the<br>Great North Museum: Hancock, with the ttle of<br>_Colour, Texture and Sound: Experiencing the_<br>_Ancient World._<br>Progress has been made on cleaning data<br>towards an updated version of the mapping<br>database.<br>A social media policy has been produced and<br>signed of. Policies on EDI have also been<br>developed, including an events planning<br>checklist and ‘lessons learned’ log for post-<br>event review. Further policies are in<br>development.|

It provides free membership and<br>ofers events to members through in-kind<br>contributons from museums and working in<br>collaboraton with other organisatons.<br>This year the CCN collaborated with Newcastle<br>University in order to successfully apply for a<br>grant from the Hellenic Society, to support an<br>event in September 2025. The CCN also<br>collaborated with the Britsh Museum to hold<br>the potery workshop in September 2024. The<br>Britsh Museum funded catering and a number<br>of travel bursaries.|

A person so appointed by the<br>charity<br>trustees shall retire at the conclusion of<br>thenextannualgeneral meeting after|
