“YOU CAN HELP”

Feeding the poor is a crucial aspect of humanitarianism.

Charity Entrust Foundation

3

Basic Necessities…

Poverty is often the root cause of hunger. People living in poverty lack the resources to access adequate food and nutrition, leading to malnutrition and hunger. Despite the challenges, progress has been made in recent years. The number of people living in extreme poverty has decreased, and the global community has committed to a better result. However, much work remains to be done, particularly in regions of the world where poverty and hunger are most acute. By working together, we can ensure that needy people have access to basic necessities such as food and water.

Charity Entrust Foundation

4

Essential Necessities…

Education: A Pathway Out of Poverty

At Charity Entrust Foundation, we believe that while food is a basic necessity for survival, education is an essential necessity for transformation. Providing meals can address immediate hunger, but education empowers individuals to rise above poverty with dignity, purpose, and hope.

In many of the communities we serve, children are eager to learn but lack the resources to access quality education. Families often face the painful choice between sending their children to school or sending them to work. This cycle of poverty cannot be broken by charity alone - it requires opportunity, and education is that opportunity.

Education nurtures confidence, builds skills, and opens doors to sustainable livelihoods. It enables future generations to contribute meaningfully to their families, communities, and economies. By supporting education, we are not only investing in individuals but in the long-term health, stability, and progress of entire communities.

As we continue to address immediate needs like food and shelter, we are equally committed to expanding our educational support - through scholarships, school partnerships, and resource provision. Because the fight against hunger and poverty must begin with nourishment - but it must continue through knowledge.

Together, let us plant the seeds of learning and watch generations rise.

Need is not always visible - and no single rule can define it. On crowded streets, countless individuals endure quiet struggles. Rather than judge, our volunteers chose to connect: to share a warm meal, walk alongside them, and truly listen. The most urgent cries weren’t for charity - but for food, shelter, and dignity. From there, people can begin to imagine change, learn skills, and find stability. At Charity Entrust Foundation, we believe that compassion begins with respect. We don't wait for people to prove their need - we meet them where they are, offering help that preserves pride and opens the door to hope. Charity Entrust Foundation

Not every impact begins at the centre. Many individuals, though not directly aided by our projects, have been meaningfully touched through their involvement. These

indirect beneficiaries - such as local suppliers, drivers, tradespeople, and contractors - may not have been the intended recipients, yet they experienced real, positive change. Their participation builds resilience in local economies, fosters trust, and ensures that the spirit of giving travels further than we often imagine. Recognising their role deepens our understanding of a project’s total reach and helps us track the broader social and economic outcomes that extend well beyond our initial goals. It also guides better planning and wiser use of charitable resources. In supporting our operations,

they contribute not just service - but continuity, pride, and income for their families. This has made our distributions smoother and our impact stronger. We are sincerely grateful to every individual who stood alongside us in service, even if from behind the scenes.

At Charity Entrust Foundation, our mission-driven efforts are shaped by direct engagement with communities and a deep understanding of their evolving needs. This year’s objectives focused on practical relief, long-term empowerment, and compassionate systems of support.

1. Empowering the Next Generation: We supported disadvantaged families with regular food assistance - creating a sense of security that allowed parents to think beyond daily survival and begin planning a brighter future for their children.

2.

Nourishing Orphaned Children: We ensured regular delivery of food supplies to orphanages throughout the year. These contributions helped meet the daily nutritional needs of children who rely on collective care, enabling them to grow in a more secure and nurturing environment.

3.

Ramadan Meal Supply : One of our key objectives is to provide Ramadan meal supplies to fasting families in need. We strive to collect and distribute donations at least a week before Ramadan begins, ensuring timely delivery. Meals are provided directly to doorsteps to uphold dignity and privacy. This initiative remains a permanent part of our service commitment.

4.

Water Handpump: One of our very crucial objectives is to repair non-functional handpumps in rural villages where clean drinking water is no longer accessible. Restoring these vital sources ensures families can meet their basic needs with dignity, protects health, and strengthens community resilience through a costeffective and sustainable water solution.

5. Plantation: Charity Entrust Foundation has set a clear objective to promote environmental well-being through organised plantation efforts in vulnerable and rural areas. This initiative is focused on increasing green cover, improving local air quality, and creating shaded spaces that benefit communities and ecosystems alike. By involving local volunteers and schools, we aim to foster environmental awareness and strengthen our long-term commitment to sustainability, climate resilience, and shared responsibility for a healthier planet.

6.

Ghana Food Supply: We have set a dedicated objective to provide regular food assistance to vulnerable families and orphaned children in Ghana. This effort aims to combat hunger and malnutrition by delivering essential groceries and daily staples to those most in need. Through trusted local volunteers and community partners, we are committed to

ensuring food security, restoring dignity, and creating hope - one meal at a time - for those facing hardship across underserved regions of Ghana.

7.

Local Event Contribution: We have set an objective to actively support and participate in local community events that align with our charitable values. Whether through food distribution, volunteer assistance, or resource sharing, our goal is to strengthen community ties and uplift local efforts that benefit the public. These contributions not only enhance visibility and trust but also allow us to directly engage with those we serve - fostering unity, inclusion, and meaningful grassroots impact.

8. Fresh Meat Distribution (Qurbani): We have committed to carrying out Qurbani with the intention of distributing fresh, halal meat to families who rarely have access to quality protein. This objective reflects both our faith-led values and our desire to nourish those in need during the blessed days of sacrifice. By sourcing livestock locally and working with trusted volunteers, we aim to deliver meat with dignity - reaching the most vulnerable across India, Ghana, and other underserved areas.

9. Building a Volunteer-Driven Movement: A strong network of dedicated volunteers is vital to our work. This year, we expanded our team with individuals who not only deliver support, but embody the values of empathy, respect, and shared responsibility.

10. Understanding Educational Barriers: We engaged with both government and private schools to better understand the daily challenges faced by students in under-resourced areas. These insights are helping shape our future scholarship support initiatives.

11. Establishing a Widow Pension Framework:

Recognising the vulnerability of widowed women, we began laying the foundations of a structured Widow Pension Programme - developing a system that ensures ongoing financial stability and restores dignity in their lives.

S t r u c t u r e & E x e c u t i o n …

Charity Entrust Foundation is governed by three trustees, each with experience in various sectors, including education, agriculture, livestock, health, and food. The trustees provide strategic direction, set policy, and ensure the organisation is compliant with laws and regulations. They also oversee the organisation's finances and ensure its resources are used efficiently and effectively. The trustees were selected based on their knowledge of the UK charity sector as well as their knowledge of the socioeconomic conditions in developing countries in which the charity operates. The recruitment process did not accept candidates with criminal records. The trustees were required to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. They were also expected to demonstrate a commitment to the charity's mission. An evaluation of the merits of key projects is conducted following a thorough discussion and review of all available evidence. The trustees then make decisions based on consensus and the best interests of the charity. They must also ensure that the charity's finances are managed responsibly and that resources are used efficiently.

There is no employed staff at the charity, and fundraising is done through crowdfunding and snowballing through close associates. Through well-vetted volunteers who share our values of honesty and selflessness, we deliver our projects in our respective geographical areas. Our volunteers are dedicated and committed to the cause, and we are grateful for the support they provide. We strive to ensure that our projects are successful and that our resources are used responsibly and efficiently.

Our fundraising and project delivery do not have a budget, but we have implemented a policy where volunteers are compensated for their time. In two years of operation, we have provided water, food, and educational infrastructure for deprived communities. We are proud of our progress as a new charity. Since we are a small, but growing, charity, we welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other charitable organizations and corporations. No matter what we do, we strive for excellence. We prioritize impact and sustainability in all of our projects. We are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those in need.

CEF Achievements… – October 2023 October 2024

V o l u n t e e r s n e t w o r k i n g : One of our most meaningful achievements this year has been the development of a strong and efficient volunteer network. Our volunteers are the heart of every project, bringing dedication, compassion, and an unwavering spirit of service. From food distribution to fieldwork in remote areas, each individual contributed with sincerity and passion. Their commitment ensured timely delivery, respectful engagement with beneficiaries, and a consistent standard of care across all our initiatives.

We are proud of the values they represent and grateful for the selfless energy they bring. This growing network continues to strengthen our impact and deepen trust within the communities we serve.

G r o c e r y B a g s : Grocery support remains a vital part of our mission, helping families regain stability and dignity. By meeting this basic need, we create space for - vulnerable households to focus on rebuilding their lives - whether by learning new skills or seeking employment. Hunger should never be a barrier to hope. To support this, we supplied monthly grocery bags to 21 families, each bag sufficient for a household of three to four members. Over the year, a total of 252 grocery bags were distributed. Delivering this consistently requires careful coordination, dedicated volunteers, and deep community engagement. Our aim is not only to feed, but to empower - ensuring that temporary support becomes a stepping stone toward long-term self-sufficiency and a more hopeful future.

O r p h a n a g e S u p p o r t : Supporting orphaned children has remained one of our core commitments throughout the year. We provided regular food supplies to orphanages in areas where resources are scarce and daily needs are often unmet. These contributions ensured that children received nutritious meals - offering not just sustenance, but comfort, stability, and care. Our team worked closely with orphanage staff to identify specific needs and deliver items in a timely and respectful manner. This consistent support helps create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and supported. At Charity Entrust Foundation, we believe every child deserves nourishment, dignity, and the opportunity to grow with hope.

CEF Achievements… – October 2024 October 2024

H a n d p u m p R e p a i r : Access to clean drinking water remains a critical challenge for many rural communities in Western Uttar Pradesh, India. In several areas, existing handpumps had fallen into disrepair due to a lack of funding, leaving families - and even orphaned children - dependent on unsafe or distant water sources. Rather than investing in new, costly infrastructure, Charity Entrust Foundation adopted a more practical and sustainable solution: repairing existing handpumps. Our team identified defunct units that could be salvaged and prioritised those located in high-need areas. This approach allowed us to make a meaningful impact within a limited budget while restoring essential, long-neglected water access points.

We successfully repaired several major handpumps, including one serving a local orphanage and others that now provide clean drinking water to nearby villagers. These restored sources now serve dozens of people each day, offering safe and reliable access to water. The repairs were carried out in close coordination with local technicians and volunteers, ensuring the work was done both safely and efficiently.

This initiative reflects our core belief: even small, thoughtful interventions can bring lasting change. By reviving existing infrastructure, we not only preserved valuable resources but also restored dignity, health, and hope to those who rely on such vital services.

CEF Achievements… – October 2024 October 2024

F r e s h M e a t D i s t r i b u t i o n ( Q u r b a n i ) : Qurbani represents one of the most meaningful acts of charity - an expression of faith, compassion, and shared humanity. During the blessed days of Eid-al-Adha, we were humbled to carry out Qurbani with the sincere intention of reaching those who seldom have the opportunity to enjoy fresh, nutritious meat. With the generous support of our donors, Charity Entrust Foundation facilitated the slaughter of cattle and goats across India and Ghana. The fresh meat was carefully portioned and distributed to over 700 families living in poverty, many of whom would not have otherwise experienced the joy of Eid with such dignity. This project was not merely about food; it was about inclusion, equity, and ensuring that every family felt remembered during this sacred occasion. From procurement to distribution, every step was conducted with deep respect for the values of Qurbani and the communities we serve. Local volunteers played a vital role in ensuring the meat reached the most deserving households promptly and in a hygienic manner. We view this initiative as a powerful way to bridge the gap between abundance and need, while honouring the sacred responsibility of giving. InshaAllah, we remain committed to continuing and expanding this beautiful tradition in the years ahead.

CEF Achievements… – October 2024 October 2024

P l a n t a t i o n : This year, Charity Entrust Foundation proudly launched its first plantation drive, successfully planting 45 trees across designated areas. Each tree was carefully selected for its environmental and economic value, and securely protected with metal cages to safeguard them from animals. To ensure healthy growth, we also arranged for a dedicated volunteer to water the trees regularly, especially during dry seasons, until they develop strong, independent roots. This initiative reflects our commitment to environmental stewardship and long-term sustainability. Planting trees is more than just adding greenery — it’s about restoring balance, enhancing biodiversity, and investing in a healthier planet for future generations. We are grateful to be playing a small but meaningful role in protecting nature and nurturing life where it’s needed most.

Honouring a Legacy of Silent Service…

We continue to feel the deep loss of Late Haji Moiz Uddin , whose passing left a profound void in our hearts and in the foundation of our charity. As one of the key pillars in the establishment of our organisation, his quiet yet powerful presence shaped not only our work, but our values.

Our founder, Amir, had the privilege of working alongside him as a student - learning from his unwavering commitment to serving others with dignity and discretion. Late Haji Moiz Uddin firmly believed that real charity is done in silence, with integrity, and with deep respect for those in need. He taught us the importance of door-to-door investigation and personal delivery as a means of truly understanding and supporting the vulnerable.

His legacy lives on in every project we undertake and every life we touch. Though he is no longer with us, his principles continue to guide our work. We pray Allah (swt) grants him the highest place in Jannah (paradise) and accept his lifelong service as sadaqah jariyah. He will always be remembered with immense respect, gratitude, and affection.

Thank You to Our Volunteers…

On behalf of Charity Entrust Foundation, we extend our heartfelt thanks to each of our incredible volunteers. Your hard work, dedication, and passion are the driving force behind every step we take. Without your tireless efforts, it would be impossible to reach the vulnerable and achieve our mission. You are the heart of our work - thank you for standing with us, always.

In 2023, Charity Entrust Foundation committed to addressing critical - needs in deprived communities focusing not just on aid, but on restoring dignity and enabling long-term resilience.

1. Our volunteers actively engaged with individuals and families in hardship-stricken areas, listening to their needs and responding with empathy. We distributed hot meals and grocery packs, ensuring that hunger did not stand in the way of hope. For families on the brink, a simple act of nourishment became a -

turning point a space to breathe, reflect, and consider how they might rebuild with dignity.

2. To create meaningful change for future generations, we supported families with consistent grocery supplies, allowing parents to focus on their children’s growth, learning, and emotional well-being. In parallel, our team provided regular food donations to orphanages, where resources are often stretched thin.

3. Water access emerged as a pressing concern. Our investigation revealed that many existing handpumps were out -

of order not from neglect, but from a lack of repair funds. By reviving damaged pumps, we restored access to clean water -

in schools, orphanages, and villages one of the most impactful steps toward health and stability.

4. During Qurbani, our commitment to dignity and faith in action saw the sacrifice of cattle and goats, with fresh meat reaching over 900 families in India and Ghana. For many, this was the only time of year they tasted meat.

5. To meet the brutal cold of winter, we distributed second-hand clothing to those sleeping rough, offering both physical warmth and emotional comfort.

6. Equally important, we nurtured a growing network of volunteers - individuals who serve not out of obligation, but with heart.

Their compassion, care, and unity remain one of our most treasured achievements.

Together, these efforts echo our belief: meaningful charity begins with listening, dignity, and shared humanity.

Responsible use of resources CEF's guiding principle

Charities rely on donations to fulfil their missions. However, it is crucial that donations are used responsibly and efficiently. Charities should prioritize spending resources on programs and initiatives that directly benefit the communities they serve. They should also monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of their programs to ensure maximum impact. Additionally, charities should strive to manage resources responsibly, including utilizing technology to streamline operations and minimize administrative costs. By adhering to these principles, charities can ensure responsible use of resources for charitable purposes, maximizing their impact on those in need.
