“YOU CAN HELP”
Feeding the poor is a crucial aspect of humanitarianism.

Poverty is often the root cause of hunger. People living in poverty lack the resources to access adequate food and nutrition, leading to malnutrition and hunger. Despite the challenges, progress has been made in recent years. Th ~~e number of people liv~~ ing in extreme poverty has decreased, and the global community has committed to a better result. However, much work remains to be done, particularly in regions of the world where poverty and hunger are most acute. By working together, we can ensure that needy people have access to basic necessities such as food and water. Charity Entrust Foundation

There is no standard for determining who is truly needy. Thousands of people walk on the streets. Volunteers discussed offering a hot meal to anyone working, begging or engaged in any daily activity would be more beneficial. Walk with them, listen to their concerns, and determine their actual situation. We were happy with the outcome. The most important need expressed by individuals was food and shelter. They can then explore other options such as gaining skills or becoming more sustainable. Charity Entrust places a greater emphasis on self-respect than showing need.

Indirect beneficiaries are individuals who did not directly benefit from a program or project, but were indirectly affected by its effects. This includes individuals who were not directly targeted or engaged with the initiative, but still experienced positive outcomes. For example, local suppliers, transporters, contractors, etc. Taking into account indirect beneficiaries is important in order to gain a better understanding of the full impact of a program or project. In addition, it facilitates the measurement of the broader social and economic benefits that extend beyond the immediate target group. Moreover, acknowledging these benefits can assist in better allocating resources and planning for the future. As a result, managing distribution has become easier. Consequently, they are able to contribute to charity while generating revenue. It is with great gratitude that the Charity Entrust Foundation wishes to express its gratitude to those who have assisted us in our charitable work.

1) Engaging with locals in deprived areas to determine their basic needs. Provide them with food so they can think about how they can gain the skill and achieve a sustainable lifestyle.
2) Creating opportunities for the next generation by encouraging poor families to think positively. In the meantime, we will take care of their grocery needs.
3) Provide regular food supplies to orphanages. In most villages, water is a major concern. In our investigation, we find out that the existing water handpumps are not functioning because they need to be repaired and the local communities do not have the funds to do so.
4)
As much as possible, we should perform the Qurbani so that the fresh meat can be distributed to those in need and the poor.
5)
Additionally, one of the main objectives of the project was to build a team of passionate volunteers who understand how to help others and take care of each other.
6) As many as tens of thousands of people die in cold weather due to the lack of appropriate clothing and sleeping on the streets due to inadequate winter preparations.

S t r u c t u r e & E x e c u t i o n …
Charity Entrust Foundation is governed by three trustees, each with experience in various sectors, including education, agriculture, livestock, health, and food. The trustees provide strategic direction, set policy, and ensure the organisation is compliant with laws and regulations. They also oversee the organisation's finances and ensure its resources are used efficiently and effectively. The trustees were selected based on their knowledge of the UK charity sector as well as their knowledge of the socioeconomic conditions in developing countries in which the charity operates. The recruitment process did not accept candidates with criminal records. The trustees were required to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. They were also expected to demonstrate a commitment to the charity's mission. An evaluation of the merits of key projects is conducted following a thorough discussion and review of all available evidence. The trustees then make decisions based on consensus and the best interests of the charity. They must also ensure that the charity's finances are managed responsibly and that resources are used efficiently.
There is no employed staff at the charity, and fundraising is done through crowdfunding and snowballing through close associates. Through well-vetted volunteers who share our values of honesty and selflessness, we deliver our projects in our respective geographical areas. Our volunteers are dedicated and committed to the cause, and we are grateful for the support they provide. We strive to ensure that our projects are successful and that our resources are used responsibly and efficiently.
Our fundraising and project delivery do not have a budget, but we have implemented a policy where volunteers are compensated for their time. In two years of operation, we have provided water, food, and educational infrastructure for deprived communities. We are proud of our progress as a new charity. Since we are a small, but growing, charity, we welcome the opportunity to collaborate with other charitable organizations and corporations. No matter what we do, we strive for excellence. We prioritize impact and sustainability in all of our projects. We are committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of those in need.

CEF Achievements… – March 2023 October 2023
G e y s e r S u p p l y a t O r p h a n a g e : A geyser has been provided to two orphanages in order to provide them with hot water during the winter months. Each orphanage has approximately 30 to 35 children. It is difficult to provide all of the resources they require, but we hope that as a charity we will at least be able to provide them with the basic necessities. We hope this project will make a positive difference in the lives of these children. We are thankful for the opportunity to help and hope to continue our support in the future. (Eastern UP, India)
G r o c e r y B a g s : Grocery plays an important role in bringing the family closer together and keeping them happy so they can think about how they can earn a sustainable income in the future. For the poor to accept further help on how to become self-sufficient and for charities to care for them for a while, they must first be fed to prevent them from engaging in unethical activities. They can either learn the skills necessary to earn a living or search for a job during this time. Grocery bags were supplied to cover one family with three to four members for a month. A total of 9 families have been provided with grocery bags on a monthly basis for the whole year. A total of 108 bags have been delivered.
W i n t e r N i g h t s H o t M e a l s : We can't imagine what it would be like to live without food during the winter. Volunteers who have been on the road during chilled nights to share hot meals deserve our appreciation and recognition. On average, we served hot meals to almost 65 people sleeping outside every night over the course of 45 nights. We have identified some other areas that need to be addressed, but our budgets prevent us from doing everything. Hence, we're trying to focus on a few vital issues that can save a life immediately. This project has the advantage of cooking the food inhouse, which has made it very economical, costing only £0.75 per hot meal.
W a t e r D i s p e n s i n g M a c h i n e f o r S c h o o l : We were very lucky to be able to install a cold water dispenser in one of the schools in Western UP, India. Thousands of minority and poor students attend this school. It is always great to assist educational institutions and make students' lives as easy as possible so that they can concentrate on their studies.

CEF Achievements… – March 2023 October 2023
2 n d h a n d c l o t h e s d i s t r i b u t i o n : The winter season and the lack of shelter make matters worse for the poor. We purchased some second-hand clothing from the spare market and distributed it to individuals who spent their nights on the street or under trees. It is difficult to understand their pain, but we share their sense of feeling cold, which is why we distributed second-hand clothing. This is not a sustainable solution to the problem, but we distributed the clothing to provide short-term relief. The poor should not be abandoned on the streets.
F r e s h M e a t D i s t r i b u t i o n ( Q u r b a n i ) : Qurbani is a time of charity, as the meat of the sacrificed animal is distributed to those in need. It has been a great pleasure to receive a significant portion of our donation for that wonderful cause. We have slaughtered four cattle and 54 goats during Qurbani. In India and Ghana, Qurbani was performed. The meat has been distributed to almost 900+ families. By doing so, we have been able to spread love and generosity, and to reach out to those in need. The gesture is a beautiful act of kindness that we hope to continue in the future.
W a t e r H a n d p u m p R e p a i r : Lack of funding always leaves good projects in a dead state. There are difficulties in obtaining clean drinking water for the villagers in Western UP, India. There were a few old hand pumps that were no longer in use due to damage. In lieu of installing a new hand pump, we decided to repair the existing one. By doing so, not only will the budget be kept under control, but the dead hand pumps will also be revitalized. We repaired two pumps, one of which was providing clean drinking water to Orphanage and one of which was providing water to local villagers.

Responsible use of resources CEF's guiding principle
Charities rely on donations to fulfil their missions. However, it is crucial that donations are used responsibly and efficiently. Charities should prioritize spending resources on programs and initiatives that directly benefit the communities they serve. They should also monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of their programs to ensure maximum impact. Additionally, charities should strive to manage resources responsibly, including utilizing technology to streamline operations and minimize administrative costs. By adhering to these principles, charities can ensure responsible use of resources for charitable purposes, maximizing their impact on those in need.
