Trustees’ Report for year ended 31[st] December 2024

The trustees of Grace Tabernacle International Ministries are pleased to present this annual report for the year ending 31st December 2024. This report outlines the key activities, outreach programmes, and developments that have taken place within our church, reflecting our commitment to both spiritual growth and community engagement.

Regular Sunday Services

Our Sunday services continue to be the core of our worship and fellowship. Each week, members of the congregation gather for teaching, prayer, and praise. We have experienced steady attendance, our services aim to continuously provide a space for spiritual refreshment, reflection, and connection.

Free Tea and Coffee After Service

As part of our hospitality ministry, we provide free tea and coffee after every Sunday service. This has proven to be a simple yet effective way to encourage fellowship and create a welcoming environment. Many new visitors have commented on the warmth and sense of community they feel, and this time of connection has allowed for deeper relationships within the church.

Weekly Online Program

In response to the ongoing demand for online content, we have continued to develop and improve our weekly online program. This initiative has enabled members of the congregation, particularly those who are unable to attend in person, to stay connected and engage with the church’s teachings. We offer online teachings, Bible studies, and topical discussions that address both spiritual and practical issues from a biblical perspective.

Tear Outreach for the Community

Our Tear outreach programme has been a vital part of our church’s mission to serve the local community. Each month, our volunteers distribute food, clothing, and essential items to individuals and families in need. This outreach has not only provided material support but has also fostered meaningful relationships, as we seek to demonstrate God’s love through acts of kindness and service.

Christmas Party for the Community

The Community Christmas party remains a highlight of our church calendar. This year, we welcomed families and individuals from the local community to celebrate the festive season with us. The event was filled with joy, laughter, and fellowship, as we provided food, games, and entertainment for all ages. Our Christmas party continues to be a powerful way of reaching out to those who may not otherwise experience the joy of the season.

Father’s Day and Mother’s Day Celebrations

We celebrated father’s day and mother’s day with gifts to the congregation.

Trustees’ Report for year ended 31[st] December 2024

Youth Mentoring and Discipleship Programme

Our youth mentoring and discipleship programme has seen tremendous growth this year. The programme provides young people with the opportunity to receive guidance, support, and spiritual mentorship. Through regular sessions, discussions, and activities, our youth are equipped to grow in their faith, build strong relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence and biblical principles.

Sunday School for Kids

Our Sunday school programme continues to thrive, providing a nurturing and educational environment for children of all ages. The dedicated team of volunteers have worked tirelessly to create engaging lessons and activities that help children develop a deeper understanding of their faith while having fun. The programme has been instrumental in laying a strong spiritual foundation for the next generation.

Our Yearly Convention

Our annual church convention was once again a significant event, bringing together our congregation for a weekend of worship, teaching, and fellowship. Guest speakers delivered powerful messages, teaching and workshops that challenged and inspired us to grow in our walk with Christ. The convention provided a time of spiritual renewal and community building, as members reflected on the past year and looked forward to the future with hope and faith.

Baptism Service

Our baptism services this year celebrated those who made the public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ. It was a joyful occasion, as family, friends, and the wider church community came together to witness and support this important step in the spiritual journey of the individuals being baptized.

Children Dedication

We continue to offer child dedication services for families wishing to dedicate their children to the Lord. This special service is a time for parents to commit to raising their children in the Christian faith, with the support and encouragement of the church family. We were privileged to witness several children being dedicated this year, and we are committed to supporting these families as they nurture their children’s faith.

Free Transportation

We continue to provide free transportation to members and visitors. This has been especially beneficial for those with limited mobility or access to transportation. The minibus service ensures that everyone have the opportunity to attend services, events, and other church activities without transportation being a barrier.

Birthday Celebrations

At Grace Tabernacle, we place great importance on celebrating and acknowledging the milestones in the lives of our members, including their birthdays. Throughout the year, we have consistently honoured birthdays during our Sunday services, creating a joyful and inclusive atmosphere where individuals feel valued and appreciated.

After the main service, we take a moment to celebrate those with birthdays during the week.. These celebrations are a simple yet meaningful way to strengthen the bonds within our church family, showing love and care for one another.

By recognising birthdays, we affirm each individual’s worth within the community and help foster a sense of belonging. These moments of celebration have also created opportunities for members to connect with one another and share in the joy of these special occasions.

Conclusion

This year has been marked by growth, outreach, and community engagement. As trustees, we are incredibly grateful for the dedication and support of our congregation, volunteers, and staff. Together, we have been able to accomplish much, and we look forward to continuing to serve both our church and the wider community in the year to come.

Signed on behalf of the trustees,

Godwill Ekep Nkengagbor Chair of Trustees
