Structure, Governance, and Management
Governing Document: The charity is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO), governed by its constitution dated 7 March 2023 .
Trustee Recruitment and Appointment: Apart from the first trustees, every trustee must be appointed for a term of 3 years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees. New trustees are recruited based on the skills and experience required to further the charity's objectives and are provided with an induction to their roles and responsibilities.
Objectives and Activities
Charitable Objectives: The objectives of the Al Islam Family Foundation, as stated in its governing document, are: "To further such purposes which are exclusively charitable within the laws of England and Wales as may be determined from time to time by the charity trustees." Summary of Main Activities in Relation to Objectives: To achieve its objectives, the charity's main activity during the year was the provision of grants and donations to support various charitable causes. Based on financial records, key areas of support included:

Achievements and Performance
During the year, the charity successfully provided funding to a number of projects in line with its objectives. The trustees are pleased with the performance of these activities and believe they have delivered a positive public benefit.
The Moroccan Orphan project funded three orphans , the number of people assisted by the feeding program was over 200, as well as completion funding for a mosque in Bangladesh.
Financial Review
The trustees are pleased to present the financial results for the year. The charity ended the period in a strong financial position, enabling it to continue its work in the future.

Total income for the year was £20,379.20 , comprised entirely of donations.

Total expenditure was £6,611.91 , of which £6,566.91 was spent directly on charitable activities and £45.00 on bank charges.

The charity generated a surplus of £13,767.29 for the year.

The closing cash balance held in the bank on 2 December 2024 was £13,767.29 .
Reserves Policy: Trustees are hopeful to build enough reserve over time to purchase a property or properties to enable the charity to endure into perpetuity.
