ANNUAL REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES AND INDEPENDENTLY EXAMINED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31 MAY 2025 ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE: Trustees Summary The period June 2024-May 2025 was a solid one for OSRA. We continued the development of grass roots squash across Oxfordshire in ￿3￿S such as leisure centres, and have provided improved opportunity for advan￿1 and competitive players to test themselves in leagues and toumaments. There is still a lot more work to do, particularly on aspects such as the promotion of squash and in communicating wrth players and clubs. but there is much to be proud of. Increasing participation in an indusive way must ¢onts'nue to be the focus of OSRA'S efforts to develop squash in Oxfordshire, through increasing opportunities for juniors (schoolchildren) and adults to experience squash in a friendly, fun and engaging way, allied lo increasing opportuntties for all to participate in competitions (such as toumaments and leagu6s) as well as inspiring players through exhibitions. trips to spe¢tale at national events. and supporting players and teams in int8rcounty events. We must check that we are per￿1Ved to be welcoming for all genders and backgrounds, and make special provision where desired helpful (e.g. women's only learning sessions). Over the last year we have made progress wrth increasing the number of trained coaches in Oxfordshire, although we still strive to train more (and we support the new coaches including by helping with the costs). England Squash continu& to support initiatives across the county, and w8 have been successful at attracting significant financial support (well over 2000GBP) from ES which are targeted to junior programme e8pacially in oreos where10¢81 volunteern need support for growth, induding the junior squash initiatives at Carterton. Henley. Chipping Norton. The entry fees from Oxfordshire league squash continues to generate vital income but it will be necessary lo find other sources of revenue such as league and tournament sponsorship to support development activity in the county. Pleasingly, the project for the new Website has concluded and this highly polished and attractive site is a source of news of all the sporting achievements across the county, well done to all involved.
