Objects: 3.1 The Objects Of The CIO Are To:3.1.1 Promote The Mental And Physical Health, Recovery, Welfare And Rehabilitation Of Wounded, Injured And Sick Former Servicemen And Servicewomen ("veterans") Whilst Also Recognising And Supporting (where Applicable) The Significant Role Families Of Veterans Have, And Burden They Share, In Their Ongoing Support By (but Not Limited To):(a) Encouraging And Facilitating The Participation Of Veterans In Sporting Activities And Other Events Worldwide Which Develop Their Skills, Capacities And Capabilities To Enable Them To Participate Fully And Equally In Society; And(b) Organising, Encouraging And Facilitating Sporting And Other Events Worldwide Which Raise And Maintain The Awareness Of The General Public In All Areas Relating To The Ongoing Support Needs Of Wounded, Injured And Sick Veterans And Particularly The Role Played By Their Families; And3.1.2 Promote, Advance And Facilitate The Education Of The General Public In All Areas Relating To The Suffering Of Physical And Mental Health, Particularly Of Veterans, By (but Not Limited To) Encouraging, Facilitating Or Organising Conferences And Workshops Aimed At Both Young People And Adults.
