Ba$is for opinion
We conducted our audit in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (UK) {ISAs (UK)) and

responsibilities for the audit ot-the financial statements section of our report. We are independent of the
charitable company in accordance ivith the ethical requireinents that are relevant to our audit of the

have obtained is sufticient and appropriate to provide a basis for our opinion.
Conclusions relating to going concern
In auditing the financial stateinents. we have concluded that the trustees, use of the going concern basis
of accounting in tl)e preparation of the financial statements is appropriate.
Based on the work we have perfortned, Th'e have not identified any material uncertainties relating to
cvcnts or condition5 that, indii'idually or collectively, tllay cast significant doubt on the charitable
cotllpany's ability to continue as a going concern for a period of at least twelve months from when the
financial 5tatcmcnts arc authorised for issuc.
Our rcsponsibilities and thc rc5POllsibilitics of the trustc¢s with rcspcct to ¥oiiig concem arc describcd

Th¢ other informaiion ¢omprises the infornialion included in rh¢ tnist¢es' annual report, other than the

not express any form of assurance conclusion thereon.
Oiir responsibility is to read the other inforniation and, in doing so, consider whether the other
information is materially inconsistent with the tinancial statements or our knowledge obtained in the
course of the audit or otherwise appears to be materiall)w misstated. If ive identify such material
inconsistencies or apparent material misstatements, we are required to detem]ine ￿hettIer this gives rise
to a material misstateii)ent in the financial statements themseliwes. It, based on the work we have
performed, we conclude that there is a material misstatement of this other infom]ation, we are required
to report that fact.
We have nothing to report in this regard.

INDEPENDENT AUDITOR'S REPORT TO THE MEMBERS OF
GENESYS LEGACY PROJECT LTD
YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2024
Matters on which we are required to report by exception
Wc havc nothing to ￿pOrt in rcspcct of tlic following tnattcrs in rclation to which thc Charitics (Accounts
and Reports) Regulations 2008 require us to report to you if, in our opinion..
the infom)ation given in the trustees, re]x)rt is inconsistent in any material respect with the
financial stateiiients; or
sufficient accounting records have not been kept; or
the financial statements are not in agreement with the accounting records; or
we have not received all the infomiation and explanations we require tor our audit.
Responsibilities of trustees
As explained more tully in the trustees, responsibilities statement set out on page 5, the trustees (who
are also the directors of the charilable coii)pany for the purposes of company laTh) are responsible for
the preparation ot the tinancial statenients and for being satisfied that they give a true and fair vieiv. and
for such internal control as the trustees detennine is necessary to enable the preparation of financial
statetnents that are free froin Inaterial misstatetllent, whether due to fraud or error.
In preparing the financial statstnents, the trustees are responsible for assessing the charitable cotnpany's
ability to continue as a going concern. disclosing. as applicable. matters related to going concern and
using the going concern basi5 of accounting unlcss the trustees either intend to liquidate the charitable
Lotllpany ur to L¢&SC opcrations, or hav¢ no r¢ali5tiL altcrnativc but to do so.
Auditor responsibilities for the audit of the financial statements
We have been appc)inted as auditor under section 144 c)f the Charities Act ?0 I l and report in accordance
wirh the Aci aiid relevant regulalions made or having ¢ff¢cl Ih¢r¢und¢r.
Our obje¢tiv¢s are to obtain reasonabl¢ aq8uranc¢ about whether th¢ financial qtatementq as a whole are
free from mal¢rial misslal¢ment, wherh¢r due lo fraud or error, aiid to issue an auditor's report that
in¢ludes our opinion. Reasonable assurance is a high level of assuranc¢, but is not a guarantee that an
audit conducted in accordance with ISAS (UK) will al￿'ayS detect a material misstatement when it exists.
Misstatements can arise from fraud or error and are considered material if, individually or in the
aggregate, they could reasonably be expected to intluence the economic decisions of users taken on the
basis of these financial statements.
Irregularities, including fraud, are instances of non-compliance with laws and regulations. We design
procedures in line with our responsibilities, outlined above. to detect material misstatements in respect
of irregularities, including traud.
Because of the inherent limitations of an audit. there is a risk that we will not detect all irregularities,
including those leading to a tnatcrial misstatctnci)t in the financial statcmcnts or noii-compliance with
regulation. This risk increases the n)ore that compliance ivith a law or regulation is removed from the
events and transactions reflected in the financial ststetnents, as we will be less likely to beconie aware
of instances of non-compliance. The risk is also greater regarding irregularities occutTing due to fraud
rathcr than etTor, as fraud involves intcntional conccalmcnt, forgcry. collusion, omission or
misrepresentation.
A further description of our responsibilities is available on the FRC.'s website
