**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:1) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH MYODESOPSIA (ALSO KNOWN AS EYE FLOATERS OR SYMPTOMATIC VITREOUS FLOATERS) IN PARTICULAR BY:A) PROMOTING, SUPPORTING, SPONSORING, AND COMMISSIONING RESEARCH INTO THE DIAGNOSIS, UNDERSTANDING AND TREATMENT OF THE CONDITION.B) FACILITATING COLLABORATION BETWEEN PATIENTS, CLINICIANS, AND RESEARCHERS IN ORDER TO IMPROVE UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONDITION AND THE PATIENT EXPERIENCE.C) PROVIDING UP TO DATE AND RELEVANT INFORMATION TO INDIVIDUALS DIAGNOSED WITH THE CONDITION AND TO MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AS A MEANS OF IMPROVING UNDERSTANDING AND RAISING AWARENESS OF MYODESOPSIA.2) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF PEOPLE DIAGNOSED WITH MYODESOPSIA, AND BY EXTENSION THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, BY PROVIDING ASSISTANCE IN THE FORM OF SUPPORT NETWORKS FOR THE PATIENT COMMUNITY.

**Activities:** Providing a central resource for treatment information and advice on the condition of vision degrading myodesopsia also known as symptomatic vitreous floaters, as well as raising awareness of the condition, promoting and supporting research into the condition, and providing support networks to those who have the condition.
