Achievements and Performance

The charity has arranged various social
gatherlngs in its first year of registration
for people in the Mardon community
livlng with Dementia, along wlth people
caring for them too.
There have been musical gatherings at
the local vlllage club with refreshments
provided. there have been entertainers
providing Domontia friendly sessions in
the village in our first year of
registration. Wo also held a Christmas
party. We helped raise the awareness of
Dementia and just how hard it can be to
live with such a diagnosis by providing
a Dementia informatlon bus In the
vlllage offering free Dementla
'experiences' to anyono in the village
who wanted in our first year. We
arranged a successful fundraising quiz
night in the village pub. We have also
worked closely with our GP practice to
support people who have received a
diagnosis of Dementia, and a150 With
our public library to promote awareness
of how people can be supported to live
batter with a diagnosis. Wo have also
received support from our parish
church.
