**Objects:** TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT OF A 23-ACRE WOODLAND SITE ADJACENT TO BARBY VILLAGE BY:• ENGAGING WITH LOCAL STAKEHOLDERS; LOCAL AND NATIONAL BODIES; AND LOCAL BUSINESSES IN ORDER TO PLANT AND MAINTAIN AN AREA THAT WILL INCLUDE WOODLAND, WILDFLOWER MEADOWS AND WETLAND AREAS.• PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES, THROUGH VOLUNTEERING, FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES TO LEARN ABOUT THE ECOLOGY OF NATURAL AREAS AND TO DEVELOP SKILLS IN PLANTING AND MAINTAINING THESE AREAS.• PROVIDING A SPACE FOR PEOPLE TO EXERCISE AND ENJOY THE BEAUTY OF THE WOODLAND SITE.

**Activities:** The Barby Woodland Trust its a charity brought into being to plant and maintain a 27 acre woodland site that was previously pasture land. Barby is a village in west Northamptonshire, close to the Warwickshire border. Once planted the site will encourage bio-diversity and will also be accessible for walking and exercising. The project includes a volunteer programme and work with our local schools.
