If successful, the funeral director will have indicated on the application that they will have the payment directly sent to them. - relationship with any related parties; - trustees’ consideration of major risks and the system and procedures to manage them. ## **Section C Objectives and activities** **Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** To provide financial aid to assist families after bereavement from death by suicide, by helping their financial hardship in respect of funeral cost requirements, for the Gainsborough public and surrounding villages. March **2025** **TAR** 2 Our vision is to help all bereaved families living within Gainsborough and the surrounding area who have lost a family member to suicide, receive the financial assistance they need. Making grants available to individuals who are suffering bereavements as a result of suicide. The public will be made aware of how to apply for individual grant scheme through local funeral directors and the Laybo’s Legacy website. **Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects (include within this section the statutory declaration that trustees have had regard to the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit)** ## **Additional details of objectives and activities (Optional information)** Fund raising events are run by volunteers. Each fund-raising event not only raises funds for our objectives, but they also raise awareness of suicide. All volunteers promote our charity during events and also in the wider public domain. As well as raising funds to financially help funeral costs to families that have lost a loved one to suicide. It is also really important that we raise awareness of suicide prevention.
