- Apart from the first charity trustees, every trustee must be
(eg. appointed by, elected by) appointed for a term of three years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees.
- In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the charity trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO.

The objects of the charity are:
- To advance the Islamic religion in the UK for the benefit of the public, particularly but not exclusively through the holding of prayer meetings and producing and/or distributing Islamic literature to enlighten others about the Islamic religion.

To relieve poverty and sickness in Pakistan by assisting in the distribution of medicine, food and water, the provision of an ambulance service and the building of a new hospital, in particular, but without limitation, by the provision of grants.

To advance education in Pakistan by providing educational materials such as uniforms and equipment.

To relieve the needs and suffering among victims of natural or other kinds of disaster, by providing financial assistance or food or by any other means necessary as determined by the trustees.

Charity commission requires the trustees of a charity to:

The Trustees are responsible for the keeping of proper accounting records, which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and to enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charity Act 2011. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

The charity has started its activities in order to achieve its charitable objects. During the year they were able to send funds to Lebanon/Syria to support ongoing projects.
