Aims and objectives of the charity: 

- _To relieve sickness and to preserve life by funding research into the causes, diagnosis, treatment and or management of illness, primarily for the benefit of those affected by congenital heart defects._ 

- _To provide automated external defibrillators in Hertfordshire and the surrounding area_ 

- _To provide relief of need among carers and for those suffering from congenital heard defects_ 

- _To provide support to those suffering from child loss, or those with sick children._ 



Summary of main activities undertaken in relation to the objectives: 

_Team Macy is a registered charity set up following the devasting death of our daughter Macy.  Within this financial year we have been focused on ensuring the charity has enough funds to provide potentially lifesaving equipment to local schools, clubs and places of worship._ 

_We continue to write to local groups to offer Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s).  We have been in discussion with The Royal Brompton Hospital about where our grant funding can be of most use to meet our objectives.  We are currently looking to provide play equipment on the high dependency childrens ward and also to fund vital equipment._ 

_Our website is now more user-friendly to ensure those requiring our grant funding can contact us directly and easily._ 

Financial Review: 

_We do not have a reserves policy We have no material deficit_ 

Main source of funds: 

_It has been a financially difficult year and thus our fundraising has shown a reduction in amounts received. We continue to fundraise with our main events including our annual Christmas light display, fetes and fairs, sponsored events and local community activities._ 

_Our Annual charity Christmas display saw our largest ever crowd including a choir and local DJ._
