FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF CHILDREN AFFECTED BY AUTISM, ADDITIONAL NEEDS OR CHILDREN AWAITING DIAGNOSIS, THEIR PARENTS/CARERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS, PRIMARILY THROUGH:3.1.2. PROVIDING RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR SENSORY PLAY / STIMULATING ENVIRONMENT IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE;3.1.3. THE PROVISION OF ADVICE AND ESSENTIAL SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND THEIR PARENTS/CARERS AND FAMILY MEMBERS; AND3.1.4. SIGNPOSTING INDIVIDUALS TO OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHEN APPROPRIATE; AND3.1.5. OFFERING A SUPPORTIVE AND NON-JUDGEMENTAL ENVIRONMENT FOR BOTH CHILDREN WITH AUTISM ALONGSIDE BENEFITTING PARENTS, CARERS AND FAMILIES THROUGH AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY AND THROUGH ADHERENT SUPPORT GUIDELINES.THE CHARITY SHALL BE NON-PARTY IN POLITICS AND NON-SECTARIAN IN RELIGION. THE AREA OF BENEFIT (“AREA OF BENEFIT”) SHALL BE WIGAN AND THE TOWNS SURROUNDING IT.

**Activities:** ABUK support families affected with Autism and SEN. We offer weekly sessions and activities that allow children to play in a safe, non judgmental environment alongside other like minded children. In equal measures the group offers support and signposting to parents and family members  ABUK has created a community and in addition to information, advice and guidance it is a lifeline to many.
