Trustees’ Report & Accounts

Year ended 31st December 2024

Registered charity no. 1201874 Introducing The Kaloleni Project

The Kaloleni Project (TKP) has been formed as a CIO with the objective of alleviating poverty, primarily in the UK but the constitution also allows for activity and spending in other parts of the world.

We intend to do this by providing grant support to individuals, other charities, and other organisations as appropriate.

The charity has undertaken neither income generation nor spending in this period.

Vision

Our intent is to be a vehicle for our community to support those in need; our constitution allows this in a broad sense by establishing our charitable object as addressing poverty.

Future grants will prevent or alleviate poverty by assisting in the provision of education, training, healthcare and support to enable individuals to be self-sufficient. We want to develop the capacity and skills of members of our disadvantaged communities in such a way that they are better able to identify, and help themselves to meet, their needs, and to participate more fully in society.
