## **TREASURER'S REPORT**
The Club's Community Direct plus Account started 2024 with a balance of £27,116.57, made up as follows:
£3,937.84 Waveney Bird Club £5,144.27 Waveney Bird Club Ringing Team £3,444.84 Waveney Barn Owls £14,589.62 Swift Tower Project
Between 1st January 2024 and 31st December 2024, receipts were as follows:
£3,146.33 Waveney Bird Club £890.09 Waveney Bird Club Ringing Team £170.00 Waveney Barn Owls £52,633.31 Swift Tower Project = £56,839.73
Between 1st January 2024 and 31st December 2024, expenses were as follows:
£1,035.84 Waveney Bird Club £317.69 Waveney Barn Owls £2,157.48 Waveney Bird Club Ringing Team £56,492.28 Swift Tower Project = £60,003.29
The balance of the Club's account, as at 31st December 2024 was therefore:
£27,116.57 + £56,839.73 = £83,956.30 - £60,003.29 = £23,953.01
This accords with the most recent bank statement, dated 2 January 2025, which shows a balance of £23,953.01 as at 31st December 2024.
As at 31st December 2024 the account balance of £23,953.01 comprises:

## **ACCOUNTING POLICIES**
## **Basis of accounting**
The financial statements have been prepared on a “receipts and payments basis”, therefore they summarise cash movements only during the financial year.
## **Netting off**
Raffle income is stated net of prizes costs and certain events income is the surplus relating to that event.
