the issues faced by LGBQT+ people whether by teaching, interaction,

or producing and displaying artistic and other materials and cultivating a
sentiment in favor of equality and diversity;

Delivering an annual LGBQT+ parade and festival as well as smaller events and activities held for the LGBQT+ community and its allies throughout the year, in order to foster understanding between people from diverse backgrounds Torbay Pride and its trustees have held a number of fundraising events over the last year ranging from Drag Bingo to quizzes and tried to foster a sense of community. The Annual event held on 2nd September was well attended with an estimated footfall of over 5,000 people at any one time. Feedback from the event showed the event held on 2nd September demonstrated the need for this annual event and that it hit a wide demographic of people within the local Torbay area and the wider community with some people travelling as far away as Cheshire, London and Birmingham to attend.
