REVEALING THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD, ROMFORD
TRUSTEES REPORT FOR YEAR January 24, 2023 to June 30, 2024
Date: 10 April 2025
With the help of services offered by Stewardship, our Trustees are excited that Revealing the Heartbeat of God finally became a registered charity on 24 January 2023.
We have continued to build the community using online methods such as Zoom to have four to five meetings every month. We have participants that join from around the world including all around the UK. These are hosted by Revealing the Heartbeat of God leaders and attendees that align with our mission statement: Beckoned by His love, we raise up nations to be in rhythm with the Heartbeat of God through communion with the Holy Spirit, creatively revealing Him throughout our lives. We include teaching and sharing together, as we practice hearing from God for ourselves and others, as it aligns with the Bible and God’s heart.
The aim of the charity is, as the name suggests, to advance the Christian faith by Revealing the Heartbeat of God. This is done by providing training to churches and others in Christian ministry. This is both online and in person, but with the emphasis on everyone growing in their own ability to communicate with God on a daily basis.
We were invited to host our first in person event in February 2024 at a local church nearby. This event included over 30 participants from eleven different churches. They enjoyed an afternoon of creatively being equipped in a variety of ways that God communicates to each one of us. We had a number of people share testimonies about how God encouraged them greatly during the event.
During 2023, we continued to grow Revealing the Heartbeat of God mostly through online sources, however we look forward in 2024 to hopefully hold a few more in-person meetings as we develop and build as a UK Charity. The trustees are seeking to sponsor a passionate, qualified, and experienced individual for this pivotal role—someone who can carry the vision forward and help shape the future of the charity. We are also actively seeking to connect and network with other ministries and leaders in the UK, with the goal of expanding our reach and impact within the region.
In August, we were able to open up a bank account with the Co-operative Bank as we continue our partnership with Stewardship. This streamlines the ability for people to give and including if they choose to donate gift aid as well.
Financial status:
-
We have received a total of £2,368.57 donations as of June 30, 2024.
-
Donations came from individuals and another ministry via Stewardship.
-
Money spent is a total of £648.03 as for June 30, 2024.
-
These expenditures included the consultation line for Stewardship, the sponsorship license for the charity and insurance.
-
Our current total as of June 30, 2024 is £1720.54.
Therefore, we have £1,720.54 to carry forward for future use. Whilst the amounts received may be small we are able to do a great deal with small amounts because of the work of volunteers that enable a small amount to be multiplied and achieve much more than normal. The charity does not need to carry much in the way of reserves given there are no staff at present and our policy is to hold £500 to ensure the charity is sustainable.
As the ministry continues to grow and extend its impact, the trustees are pleased to reaffirm their support for the vision and values God has entrusted to us— Revealing the Heartbeat of God . We remain confident in His leading and deeply committed to seeing this vision reflected in the lives we touch and the hearts of those who are hungry for more!
