The Trustees present their annual report together wlh the financial stslements of the Insticute of Our Lady of
Mercy CIO for the peri￿ 24 January 2023 to 31 December 2023.
Objectives
The Charitable Inccryoraled Organisalion {'CIO'I was dormant during the period and Continues lo be dormant at
the dale of approval of the accounts. 11 is the intention to transfer the assets and liabilities ol the InstilLrte of Our
Lady of Mercy Charitable Trust Icharty registration number 2905441 to the CIO in 2025. The Trustees of the CIO
fulty replic*e the Trustees of the Charitable Tru81.
The objectives are sel out in the CIO Association and mirror those of the existing Charitable Trust. The prinupal
objectives are the advancement of religK)n and other charitsble work under the direction of the Institute including,
in particular the relief of poverty, the advancement of the Roman Catholic Religion, the advancement of
education and the nursing of the sick and poor in England and Wales or anywhere in the world.. or vthich are
carried on by a charity having similar objects.
Domiant status
The CIO was dormant throughl the period.
Constitution
Inslilule of Our Lady of Mercy CIO is a registered charity, number 1201690, and is conslttuted under a CIO
As50cialion. The CIO Association was registered on 24th January 2023 and amended on 30 July 2024.
Statement of Trustees Re$pon$ibillties
The Trustaes are resrx)nsible for preparing the Trustees. report and the financial statements in accordance with
applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards Iunited Kingdom Generally Auepted Accounting
Praclicel.

each financial period wh￿h give a true and fair view of the slate of affairs of the Charity and of ils incoming
