This includes:_ a} promoting close co-operation and communication between parents and teachers b) studying and discussing matters of mutual interest relaling to the education and care of pupils cl engaging in activities which support and advance the education of the pupils attending the school, including fund raising and after school activities d) considering applications for funds put to the FOLS from parents and teachers, and granting funds to support such applications where the request is passed by a majority of the General Committee. In September, we hosted 8 busy afternoon tea Summary of the main achievements of the charity. identifying the difference the charity's work has made to the circumstan￿$ of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to sociely as a whole. Para 1.20 to welcome new parents. We held a Pumpkin Carving competition in November with some impressive entries. In December, FOLS donated gifts and chocolates given to the children In the Santa's Grotto and after the Santa Stroll. Chitra taught us how to make beautiful Christmas wreaths and we raised £430. Continuing the Christmas theme, creative Caulif lower cards helped bring in valuable funds. Our Pre-prep and Prep Movie Nights with hot dogs and popcorn in November and February were a great hit with the children and raised £345. In the Spring, we held 8 Mother's Day cake and flower sale. Palmer and Mr Wamer s popular Family Quiz Night in April raised £375. During the Easter holidays, we encouraged pupils to complete chores at home and fill ar) empty Smarties tube with the money earned and win points for their leagues - congratulations to Tadpoles for raising the most moneyl Various ice cream and cake sales throughout the year have raised over £400. Our biggest fundraising success has been our pre-loved uniform sales which we have held throughout the year. These have brought in almost £1730. Your enthusiasm helped us sell plenty of raffle tickets for our Summer Fete Hamper Draw raising over £14001 As well as the wonderful Outdoor Classroom, we have donated £700 for new equipment for the Media Studies students this donation h8s been an invaluable addition to that course. We have contributed towards a brand new set of Djembe drums for the Music Department.. We have also been able to contribute towards the amazing inflatables at the Summer Fete.
