## **1. Basis of Accounting**
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102), the Charities Act 2011, and applicable guidance issued by the Charity Commission for England and Wales and HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC).
**2. Cash**
Cash balances represent funds held on hand as of **31 March 2025** . These funds were subsequently deposited in **May 2025** , following the opening of the Ministry’s charity bank account with **HSBC Plc, Cardiff Branch** .
Cash collections are counted by at least two unrelated persons and recorded promptly. Weekly collections received by the Ministry are deposited into the charity bank account on a monthly basis.
## 3. **Musical Instruments and Equipment**
Musical instruments and equipment comprise drums, keyboards, monitors, projectors, laptops, microphones, speakers, and related accessories.
These assets are capitalised where the cost is material and depreciated using the **straightline method** over an estimated useful economic life of **five (5) years** , with no residual value.
The net book value at the reporting date was **£3,399** , representing the cost of **£4,781** less accumulated depreciation of **£1382** .
## **4. Liabilities**
Accounts payable represent the cost of a laptop purchased by the Reverend and utilised by the Ministry. The Reverend is a Trustee, and no remuneration was paid to her during the year.
Accrued expenses relate to hall rental costs for the month of **March 2025** , which were paid in **April 2025** after the financial year end.

Income consists primarily of weekly collections received from Ministry members and attendees in the form of **tithes and offerings** . These receipts are normally received in cash. All income received during the year relates to **unrestricted funds** .
## **6. Expenses**
The principal expenditure incurred during the year, and in the prior year, relates to the rental of the hall where weekly services are held at:
## **Claremont Free Church, 167 Cheviot Gardens, London NW2 1PY** .
During the year, the average monthly rental cost was approximately **£700** . Other expenditure incurred includes food and refreshments, kitchen supplies, and other costs associated with the conduct of weekly services.
